An old Victorian terrace built in 1890, visitors to the popular historic city of York are presented with a wonderful base to explore its many attractions at 23 St. Mary's . Set over three floors, nine stylish guest rooms accommodate those during their stay in one of the north's most famous cities.

Perhaps you would enjoy a trip on the river or a day at the races. The city walls, museums and shops are just a short stroll away. Browse through the Shambles or walk the Snickleways of York, each day you will discover something different. Within easy driving distance are the Yorkshire Moors and Dales, Castle Howard and Harewood House.

Close to the botanically interesting Museum Gardens, where the ruins of St. Mary's Abbey make a stroll to the heart of the city a pleasant experience. (Do take some nuts to feed the resident squirrels.) York Minster, The Shambles, Railway Museum and the Jorvik Viking Centre and Theatres are all within easy walking distance.
