2, The Old Bakery

“2, The Old Bakery” is situated within the Cotswold village of Broadway. The village is ideally situated in the centre of the North Cotswolds within easy reach of the other beautiful Cotswold Villages and attractions within the area. It is widely known as the 'Jewel in the Crown' of the Cotswold villages with its historic honey coloured stone buildings, some dating to the 13th century. The larger towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Oxford, Evesham and Cheltenham are all within a 15 minute to 60 minute drive from the property.
There are three public houses, two hotels (including the famous Lygon Arms) and several restaurants in the village, all serving excellent food. The village also hosts a wide range of shops including a Post Office, two Banks (HSBC & Lloyds), Chemist, Library, Butchers, Bakers, Newsagent plus Antiques, Clothes and Art shops plus two small Supermarkets and a Petrol Station / Garage. Various events take place throughout the year, from Fetes to Flower Shows, on the Village Green. All of the village amenities are within a short walk from the property.
There is a Main Line Rail Station in Evesham and Morton in Marsh with links to Worcester, Hereford, Oxford and London.
