Nairn has two golf couses. The Nairn Club hosts championship events such as the Walker and Curtis Cups. It also has a 9hole course. The harbour has a popular marina.
Dolphin trips can be hired from there. It has two superb beaches. Inverness, Cullodin Battlefield and Loch Ness are nearby and the Highlands are easily reached by car. The funicular railway up Cairngorm Mountain is a popular trip.
