The seaside town of Falmouth offers holiday makers the chance to enjoy all of Cornwalls natural beauty with a host of activities also on your doorstep.
Reputedly the 3rd largest natural deep water harbour in the world, shipping and sailing are key to the development of the town as a centre for visiting cruise liners as well as a host of sailing events such as the Henri Lloyd sailing week for the competitive racer as well as facilities for those that prefer to take things a little more leisurely.
You can take advantage of the local ferries which offer trips over to the little fishing village of Flushing or to the harbour side town of St Mawes. There are also a number of festivals throughout the year including the River Fal Festival and the Oyster Festival.
