Ash Barton Manor House - sleeps upto 35

Ash Barton is a Grade II* listed manor, principally 17th Century (date stone 1665) with a large courtyard and old chapel. The property, set in 25 acres includes extensive woods, fields, gardens, lake and a walled garden adjacent to the main house. We also have a large games barn with an indoor heated swimming pool. Ash Barton is located one mile from Braunton Village and accessed via our private lane.

The house has 11/13 bedrooms most of which can be arranged as double, twin, bunks or family style and 9 Bathrooms, mostly en-suite.

The property is fully equipped for your stay. Every bedroom and bathroom is supplied with crisp cotton bed linen and fresh white bathroom towels, constant hot water and centrally heated throughout. Both kitchens are fully equipped for every occasion with the main kitchen being superbly welcoming with an Aga and ample space for dining or just chilling on a sofa after a long walk! The main dining room is perfect for evening entertaining and for larger parties and has a fire place. In the evenings you can retire to the sitting room where you will find huge sumptuous sofas and a wood burner. There is a wide selection of media equipment as well as board games and even a piano!

The terrace can be enjoyed with a full range of garden furniture and BBQ, we also have an outdoor fire pit! There is ample supply of logs for the fire pit & wood burners.

Ash Barton is a very spacious, light and airy, yet robust property that is perfectly suitable for children, less able, family and friend gatherings or even to host a party or wedding. The games barn contains the indoor swimming pool as well as a huge play area. Equipped with full size snooker and pool tables, Table football, Badminton, Air hockey, Trampoline, basketball, games, bean bags and sofas making this the perfect party venue.

Whilst there is more than enough to keep you busy at Ash Barton If you want to venture away for the day then there is an abundance of Local activity including surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, sea fishing, course fishing, fly fishing, horse riding, golf, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountain biking, bird watching, kite surfing, coasteering, painting, knitting and handicrafts.

The house has a strict non smoking policy. Please use designated areas only. All linens and towels except pool/beach are provided. Optional daily cleaning, chef service & treatments available upon request.

Changeover day is Saturday in high season. Departure by 10am please to allow for cleaning for next guests who should arrive after 4pm, but if bookings allow we will always do our best to be flexible.

Accessibility The Manor House has wide open staircases which are relatively easy to negotiate. 1 ground floor en suite double with disabled facilities.The north wing has 2 downstairs bedrooms but narrow doorways.

General - Stables provide a warm and welcoming home for dogs which are free to roam the land but not in the house please. There is ample parking available around the property.
