Brook End is the perfect getaway for a couple who want peace and quiet. An exquisite, south-facing, 300 year old, stone built, Grade II listed, 2-storey cottage.
Sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom; in a Super-king-size double, which can be separated to 3' twin beds.

There are sea views from every room, and you can sit up in bed and see the sea and beach through two windows, from which rare birds [such as chough, peregrines and divers] have been spotted, and even the occasional seal. Sleep comes easily, helped by the gentle sound of lapping waves and the top quality, comfortable Super King Size bed (which can be separated to form 2 Single Beds). The cottage, which has recently been renovated, is furnished to a high standard and beautifully decorated with traditional, soft, warm shades.

There are fitted carpets throughout, night-storage heaters, two fan heaters, electric blankets and a large ingle-nook fireplace with an electric log burner - all designed to help keep you warm and cosy whatever the weather. No detail for your comfort is over-looked, from the carefully planned lighting to the immaculate cleanliness. Bed linen, bathroom towels and fresh flowers are all provided.

The cottage has 4 star grading from Visit Wales and the owners, John and Caroline Potter, live in the attached house and are on hand to help with local knowledge and itineraries. The coast path runs along the road past the cottage, and a superb cliff path walk around the Dale peninsula [7 miles] can be undertaken from the front door.

There is a sunny terrace full of scented flowers in summer, garden furniture and an adjacent conservatory. OS maps of the National Park, and a lot of other information, are also provided. The village shops and pub, which does meals, are just a short walk away. For those interested in activities on the water, a reputable sailing and windsurfing school is based a few hundred yards away, and Dale bay is very sheltered.

Brook End is a perfect place for walkers, windsurfers, birders, cyclists, explorers, sun-worshippers.
