Mains of Taymouth boasts its very own 9 hole Kenmore Golf Course, described as the 'Finest nine hole course in Perthshire' and Mains of Taymouth Stables where you can make some truly memorable family holiday memories. There is lots to do and see in the Kenmore area. We are situated on the edge of Loch Tay and River Tay which offer the best fishing in the area or just hire a boat and relax on the Loch. Highland Adventure Safaris offers the most exhilarating days out - experience hill top safaris or a cycle safari where you and your bike can be dropped off up the hill so you can enjoy the cycle down. We are home to The Scottish Crannog Centre where you can experience first hand how our ancestors survived. There are many, many more things to do and see - it's a place well worth discovering.
Mains of Taymouth can offer you a truly memorable holiday in spectacular scenery close to the Loch and River Tay in Scotland’s most prestigious area. The Estate and Golf Course is flanked on one side by the Tay Forest Park which has spectacular walks, mountain bike and horse trails and on the other by the river and loch with superb fishing for brown trout and salmon and a wide variety of water sports. Kenmore is the perfect destination to relax and enjoy the wide and varied experiences our area has to offer and is ideally located for touring the whole of Scotland.
All cottages include:
