Burr Tree Cottage is set in picturesque countryside, designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty, 2 miles from the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, which is a small historic town in the Lune valley, with good restaurants and pubs.
The whole area is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and a short drive from the Lake District, making it ideal for sight-seeing, walking and cycling. For the more adventurous there is also caving and pot-holing in the vicinity.
