Bedroom Units
Caerhafod Lodge has 5 en-suite rooms, 3 of which are 4 bedded, one 5 bedded and one 6 bedded, making a total of 23 beds.
All bedding and bed linen is provided, towel hire is also available.
All rooms have power showers, toilet wash hand basins and shaver points.
Kitchen
There is a superb, fully equipped self catering kitchen diner.
This comprises of two 4 burner hobs, two Salamander catering grills, one large oven two microwave ovens, two toasters, three electric kettles, one fridge and a fridge freezer.
There is also a breakfast bar and there are three refectory tables, all with stools.
Outdoors
There is a patio with picnic benches where you can enjoy some of the best sea views and sunsets in Pembrokeshire, on a clear day you may often see the Wicklow Mountains of Ireland.
This is also an ideal place to have a Barbeque.
Facilities
These include a drip dry area, drying room with automatic washing machine (free), outside tap for washing down wetsuits, kayaks, surfboards etc.
There is lockable storage for bicycles, surf boards and kayaks.
We also offer Mountain Bike Hire on an hourly, half day or full day basis.
Make walking the glorious Pembrokeshire Coast Path an easy and memorable experience by basing yourselves at Caerhafod Lodge.
The various Coastal Shuttle buses allow you to do a variety of walks from a single base.
The accommodation is designed to offer a relaxing and unique atmosphere where a genuine Welsh welcome from the proprietors, Sion and Carolyn Rees and their staff, awaits the guests.

Diving
Interested in diving? Then there are numerous diving schools to choose from in the area, the nearest being West Wales Diving School based in Mathry only 4 miles away. Or you could try Celtic diving based at Fishguard harbour a 9 mile drive.
Surfing
If you love to surf, then you’re spoilt for choice here for great surfing beaches. Whitesands Nr St Davids is very popular, and is a really nice beach, Newgale and Freshwater West are also not very far away, but the nearest is Abereiddy only 2 miles away it boasts an ice cream van, and parking is free!! Surfing advice, equipment and forecasts can be obtained form Ma Simes surf hut in St Davids
Horse Riding
At Nolton riding stables you can enjoy spectacular beach riding and hacks through costal fields. Or try western riding at Sycamores Ranch situated near Llawhaden. Nearer to home Llanwnda Stables Nr Goodwick, and the Bowlings riding stables, Rudbaxton Haverfordwest, offer more traditional riding lessons.
Kayaking
This is a very popular sport, with experienced kayakers trying their hand at the standing wave on the bitches in Ramsey sound. For beginners and the inexperienced, local outdoor pursuit centres offer tuition and guidance
Coasteering
Where better than the Pembrokeshire coast to try coasteering? This exhilarating sport was invented in St Davids, and is immensely popular with both young and not so young. Local outdoor pursuit centres offer expert guidance for those wishing to try their hand. Try TYF in St Davids or Preseli Venture Nr Mathry
Cycling
The Sustrans Celtic trail route 4 passes the bottom of Caerhafod Lodge’s drive, so where better to stop off for the night. Cycling information can be obtained www.cyclepembrokeshire.com
Walking
The 186 mile long Pembrokeshire coast path offers the walker the opportunity to observe grey seals and their pups, a myriad of sea birds, beautiful wild flowers, & occasionally dolphins & porpoise all from the cliff top. Around every corner there is something to gaze at whether it’s the wonderful views or maybe you’ve come across some pre historic site. There is a network of footpaths and bridle ways for the walker to choose from in the area.
Fishing
Shore fishing from rocks & beaches is the most popular sea fishing pursuit with some of the best fishing to be found around the St Davids area. Fishing boats can be chartered from a number of harbours around the coast, the fish most commonly caught on these trips are Mackerel and Pollock.
Wildlife,Bird, Seal and Dolphin viewing
Where better to view marine wildlife than from a boat, and Ramsey Island Nr St Davids is one of the best places in which to see make your observations. There are numerous boat operators based in St Davids to choose from, and some of these will take you off shore where if you’re lucky you can see whales, dolphins, porpoise, shearwaters, and the gannets on Grassholm island.
