Self Catering Holiday Cottage, Matlock, Derbyshire: This three bedroom, self-catering cottage located in the Derbyshire Dales is warm, light and spacious, well fitted and equipped with gas fired central heating throughout.
The lounge/diner has a table for eight and two settees (one is a double sofa bed). An electric coal effect fire provides a focal point. TV, DVD and video are provided.
There are windows to the front and rear of the lounge/diner and French doors opening on to a balconied deck. Steps from the deck lead to a paved sunny south-facing garden bordered by a dry stone wall.
There is a lovely view down the Lumsdale valley towards Matlock and across the rolling Derbyshire hills to Riber Castle. Running next to the cottage is the picturesque Bentley Brook. A barbeque and garden furniture are provided for use in the walled garden.
The kitchen has an oven and hob, washer/drier, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, table and four chairs. The hall has a coat stand, shoe rack and book case containing a large variety of books, games, puzzles, dvds, videos and brochures. Behind the door is the fire extinguisher and a fire blanket.
On the first floor are three bedrooms. The spacious main bedroom has two single beds designed to make up to a large double bed, where required. There is an en-suite with with electric shower cubicle , hand basin and toilet. A full size wardrobe and chest of drawers offer storage space. There are two mirrors. The window faces south down the Lumsdale valley.

The second bedroom has a full size double bed with access on both sides, plus a wardrobe, set of drawers, two bedside tables and a mirror.
Bedroom 3 has a full size single bed, plus a wardrobe area and a mirror.
The main bathroom has a full size bath with an overhead shower plus toilet and basin.
There is a compact garden with decking and a barbeque. Behind the garden wall, there are two designated tandem parking spaces in the Mill's private off road car park. Details of the parking plan are supplied with the final booking information.
