Cascade Lodge

Castlewood Park is located close to the market town of Narberth which offers good shops,inns, banks, takeaways and restaurants. There is also a large playing field and play area for children. Narberth is within walking distance from the lodge via the footpath that runs around the grounds to Narberth Castle.

Narberth is an ideal area for touring Pembrokeshire. If you travel North you could visit Cardigan where you will find the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran. You could also visit Fishguard and Goodwick.

To the West of Narberth you can visit St. Davids where you will find a magnificient cathedral steeped in history and legend.

To the South you can visit the seaside resort of Tenby.
Here you may enjoy a boat trip from Tenby Harbour over to the peaceful location of Caldey Island. Alternatively you may prefer a fast ride on the Seal Safari around Caldey Island. Tenby has numerous restaurants and inns with many shops and you can even have a horse and carriage ride around the walled town.

Pembrokeshire has the most fantastic beaches, 11 of which have received the Blue Flag award. They have lifeguards on many beaches from the end of June to September. Saundersfoot, Tenby and Broadhaven are beautiful open beaches. Manorbier, Newgale and Whitesands are ideal surfing beaches.

For the energetic there is more than 170 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to be explored. Around every corner and over every headland there are magnificient views. Spend some time looking out to sea and you may catch glimpses of the seals that frequent the coast of Pembrokeshire.

There are many castles to explore in Pembokeshire and Pembroke Castle is worth a trip.

Younger members of the family will enjoy a visit to Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park and Blue Lagoon Water Park, all to be found within 4 miles of Narberth.

There are facilities for golf, fishing, boating and pony trekking throughout the county.
