Property description
Step back into the past in a beautifully restored 17th century weaver's house in Barnard Castle's conservation area. The River Tees flows 50m away and yet the cottage is just a few minutes from local shops.
The house has enormous character with old beams, panelling, cast iron fireplaces, stone floor and pine doors.
The rooms are full of antiques and books, with are little touches that will help you to relax and switch off.

Cheeseborough House has a tranquil location in the conservation area of the oldest part of Barnard Castle, only 50 metres from the River Tees.
It has a loo with a view and a charming visiting ghost who is only visible to children.
Yet the shops, pubs and restaurants are only a few minutes walk.
