Property description
Churchwood Valley is a small, friendly family run holiday park. Situated on the side of the valley we have a variety of cabins and lodges which can sleep from 2 to 6 people. All the units have a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with either a bath with shower over or a shower cubicle. Bigger cabins have sliding patio doors, dishwashers and washing machines and other additional extras. Outside, each cabin and lodge has a secluded patio where you can enjoy a barbecue or just while away the hours to the sound of birdsong. We are keen conservationists and have achieved gold standard for 15 consecutive years in the David Bellamy award and in the Green Tourism Business Scheme. We have a well-stocked shop, a comprehensive information centre (which includes a wi-fi hotspot) and a laundrette.

Area description
Churchwood Valley is situated on Wembury Bay which is a Marine Conservation Area. It lies just East of the University City of Plymouth with its fascinating maritime and Naval history. Within a short stroll from your cabin at Churchwood Valley it is possible to enjoy the South West Coastal Path,beautiful countryside,surfing,rock pooling,swimming or just a cream tea at Wembury Beach. There are opportunities nearby for sailing and kayaking. Dartmoor the Eden Project and many interesting historic houses and gardens are within easy reach by car as well as the small towns of Totnes and Tavistock with their lively markets and interesting shops.
