Coed Talon B & B - Llwyngwril. Snowdonia

Llwyngwril is within easy reach of Aberdovey, the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT Centre), Dolgellau, Machynlleth, Fairbourne and it's steam railway and ferry to Barmouth, Tywyn Talyllyn Railway and King Arthur's Labyrinth and Corris Craft Centre. If you want to leave the car behind for a day, there are numerous walks in and around the village to take you into the hills for spectacular views over Cardigan Bay and across to Bardsey Island. Alternatively there are many beautiful walks within a short drive, including the Mawddach Trail, made popular by Julia Bradbury, Cregennan Lakes, Cader Idris, the Precipice Walk and Panorama Walk, to name but a few.

For the less energetic, take a stroll to the pebble beach, where dolphins can be seen during the summer, and later watch the sunset over the sea. Other beaches can be found nearby at Tywyn, Fairbourne, Barmouth and Aberdovey.

There are also many interesting places to visit, all within easy reach. These include historic castles, narrow gauge railways and gold and slate mines.

Sea and freshwater fishing, pony trekking and bike hire are available locally.

There is also a leisure centre at Tywyn.
