Golfers will delight in the several prestigious courses close by and walkers and cyclists will enjoy discovering the miles of wild and beautiful open countryside surrounding Dilston Cottage.

There's a regular bus service close by and the train station at Corbridge is only a 10 minute stroll and offers excellent links to Newcastle (30 mins) and Carlisle (1 hour). Dilston Cottage is an excellent base to discover this beautiful part of Northumberland coupled with easy access to explore the Northumbrian coastline to the east and the Lake District National Park to the west.
