CENTRAL BAKEWELL: Less than 200 yards level walk to Bakewell TOWN CENTRE, Croft Cottages is the perfect B&B - a lovely 17th Century building in a PEACEFUL RIVERSIDE location. One of the oldest buildings in Bakewell, this lovely stone-built house has great character with few straight walls and no two rooms alike.

Croft Cottages is wonderfully located near the River Wye, in the beautiful and historic market town of Bakewell - home of the famous Bakewell Pudding! The town's many PUBS, SHOPS and PAVEMENT CAFES are but a 2 MINUTE stroll from the house.

We are of course perfectly situated for visiting CHATSWORTH HOUSE, Haddon Hall, Castleton Caves, MATLOCK, BUXTON and many of the pretty, unspoilt villages of the DERBYSHIRE DALES. Bakewell itself is the perfect base for gentle STROLLS, SERIOUS WALKS or CYCLING the peaks and dales.

Pat and Des, your hosts, have lived at Croft Cottages for 20 years, still love Bakewell and the Peak District, and are always at hand for information or advice.

OUR ROOMS:

WINDSOR A delightful double bedded room of character, with brand new ensuite shower room (£65 per night for 2)

STUART A larger double bedded room (plus single bed for family occupation) with pretty
and spacious ensuite shower room (£70 per night for 2)

TUDOR A charming double bedded room, overlooking our lovely walled garden towards Bakewell
Bridge, with its own separate, but entirely private and spacious bathroom (£60 per night for 2)

THE BARN Separate from the main house, a suite of rooms on two floors; ground floor sitting room and upstairs twin-bedded bedroom and newly redesigned ensuite shower room. By arrangement you may bring your well behaved dog to stay in the Barn (£80 per night for 2)

All our rooms are different, individually decorated and feature TV, TEA/COFFEE making facilities, hairdryer, quality toiletries and much more.

THE BARN has its own luxury of lovely comfortable SITTING ROOM, flatscreen TV, FRIDGE and personal OUTSIDE SITTING AREA for the warmer months.
