Stone-built self-contained accommodation with 1 double and 1 single bedroom together with shower room and toilet. Downstairs is a fully appointed/equipped kitchen/sitting area with T.V/DVD player and digital radio/CD player. Bed linen and towels provided. Heating is supplied by modern electric storage heaters. Garden area for guests together with one parking place.

Please note a £10.00 supplement is payable between October and March to cover increased energy costs.

Area description

The Ribble Valley is an area of outstanding beauty. Grindleton is an ideal starting point for visiting the Trough of Bowland, the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. The village has two country licensed premises catering for a wide variation of tastes of food/wine/beers. Both the Duke of York and The Buck are within 5 minutes walking distance of the cottage. Nearby lies the village of Chatburn with post office and small village store offering a very personal service together with a renowned local butchers. Clitheroe (distance 3 miles) is a market town of historic interest with a castle and recently opened museum. Within the town are shops, restaurants, cafes, swimming etc.
