Darach Beag - Tobermory

Darach Beag is located beside Oakfield House,an impressive Victorian mansion in upper Tobermory.Darach Beag - pronounced Dar-ach-beg means Little Oak. Darach Beag is in a quiet location, at the end of a no through road, yet it is only a short walk to Tobermory main street and all local amenities. Darach Beag has private off street parking, a large garden and secure facilities for bikes, canoes, diving gear etc.

Darach Beag is a 4 bedroom bungalow, furnished to a high standard and fully equipped to accommodate up to 7 people, in addition a cot can be provided for a baby. Tariffs are calculated by the number of people in each party - those shown in the rates section are for 7 persons, discounts are available for fewer guests.

The accommodation at Darach Beag comprises:

* a large lounge with views towards Calve Island and across the Sound of Mull to the mainland
* a large kitchen which, along with the adjacent utility room, is very well equipped with cooker, fridge freezer, dish washer, washing machine, tumble drier and microwave.
* there is ample seating for up to 8 people at the kitchen table.
* two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room
* one twin bedroom
* one single bedroom
* and a bathroom with bath and over bath shower


Guests have a large, private, well tended garden with outdoor drying facilities, swings, garden seats and picnic benches. A haven for adults and children alike.

Tariffs at Darach Beag include electricity, towels and bed linen.

Darach Beag has a well stocked toy, games and book cupboard.

We regret that we do not accommodate pets in Darach Beag or the grounds. Smoking is not permitted within Darach Beag.

Larger groups may wish to reserve both Darach Beag and Oakfield Cottage which is next door and is converted from part of Oakfield House thus allowing for up to 11 guests plus a baby.
