Originally a gamekeeper's cottage, Easter Duiar has been substantially extended to provide excellent self-catering holiday accommodation in Speyside for 2–12 people.
Located in one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland, this wonderful highland home is in the heart of Speyside on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, just 8 miles from Grantown-on-Spey and provides an ideal base for exploring the Scottish highlands and the Moray Firth coast.

Easter Duiar is a luxury self catering holiday cottage and sleeps up to 12 people in 5 bedrooms, three up and two down. There is also a separate bothy which can be made available which sleeps up to 4 people which is only available in conjunction with the main house.
Downstairs
* Suberb sun lounge with windows on three sides and panoramic views of the valley beyond. This room has a comfortable seating area with log burning stove together with a large dining table with seating for up to 12.
* Bright and airy kitchen with table and seating for up to 8. There are great views of the Spey Valley to the front and the garden to the rear.
* Lounge with stone wall and roaring open fire. This is a lovely cosy room with window to the front overlooking the valley and is a great place to snuggle down after a days walking or cycling.
* Lovely double bedroom with ensuite shower-room.
* Bedroom with adult bunk beds.
* Family Bathroom with bath and shower over bath.
* Front Porch – a great place for an evening dram watching the sun setting over the hills beyond.
Upstairs
* Main Bedroom with balcony and en-suite shower room. This large bedroom also has a sofa bed for one and a separate camp bed is available to allow a family of 4 to stay. There is also a desk to allow any workaholics to keep on working! Breakfast or an evening drink can be enjoyed on the balcony overlooking the garden.
* Twin bedroom with windows to the front and side.
* Another smaller twin bedroom with window to the front.

Things to See & Do
The cottage is situated in the heart of Speyside within the highlands and is ideal holiday accommodation for taking in the many activities in the area.
For the actively minded many outdoor pursuits can be enjoyed nearby including canoeing, windsurfing, skiing, golf, quad biking, horse riding or indeed walking or cycling, both of which can be enjoyed from our doorstep.
If you'd rather enjoy a relaxing break then equally there are numerous castles, gardens and potteries nearby or if you would rather sample one of the local malts then you wont find a better selection with Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, Knockandu and Aberlour within a short distance to name but a few.
You could also explore the Moray Firth coast less than an hour's drive away where there are beautiful sandy beaches and many colourful harbours. Findhorn has the original eco-village which is worth a visit with a fantastic shop with one of the best selections of organic food products in Scotland as well as the new Moray Art Centre. Dolphins and porpoises can often be seen just off the coast, whilst roe deer, red squirrels, numerous birds of prey and the odd stoat might make guest appearances at Easter Duiar itself.
