Ideal for tent campers throughout its extended opening season (no caravans are allowed on the site), there is a unique Camping Barn and ten Camping Pods on site.
Walkers can reach England's highest peak, Scafell Pike, and deepest lake, Wastwater. The campsite is also close to the newly-created Eskdale Cycle Trail between Eskdale and Ravenglass with its Roman Harbour.
There is a well-stocked, licensed shop on the site, selling local meat from Bewleys Butchers and local Lakeland Ales.
