The farmhouse has a lovely family kitchen with oak fitted units and an oil fired Rayburn, set in an inglenook fireplace which provides hot water and full central heating making this a warm and comfortable place to stay in the winter months. There is a pine dining table which will seat 10, old oak church pews and a lovely welsh dresser. An electric ceramic hob and grill, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. There is ample work surface and storage space in the well eqwuipped kitchen. A colour TV, radio and views out over the well maintined garden.
A cosy sitting room with colour TV and video, a very comfortable sofa bed and easy chairs. A choice of either an open fire with logs provided or if preferred there is a very efficient electric fire.
There is one bedroom downstairs with a double bed with a new good quality mattress.
Ample parking space on the courtyard.
Private enclosed sunny garden at the back of the house with patio area, bbq, and garden seating. Rotary clothes airer.
Enclosed childrens play area.
A shower room with shower cubicle, handbasin and toilet.
In the porch near the front door there is a drying area for muddy boots and wet clothes.
Up a flight of stairs with a fitted safety gate at the top.
Upstairs lounge with leather sofas and armchairs. Tv and video. Views out over the pond in the meadow and valley beyond.
There are two preety bedrooms. One double bedroom and a family bedroom with one double bed and one single bed.
A newly furnished bathroom with a bath with shower over, toilet and handbasin. Large airing cupboard.

Wern-y-Marchog is situated approximately 2 miles south of the busy Market town of Brecon at the foothills of the majestic BRECON BEACONS within the heart of the Welsh countryside and in the centre of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
It is accessible by car from all parts of the U.K. and can easily be reached within a 10 minute drive after turning off the main A.40 road. It is centrally located for touring and exploring or you may prefer to sit back in the pleasant grounds and take in the glorious views across the valley or towards the mountains where the sheep graze peacefully. It has become a popular venue for many families who return here year after year to escape the hustle and bustle of busy city life.
The surrounding area is some of the most impressive in Wales with magnificent landscapes, rivers, lakes, canals, waterfalls, ancient woodlands, plenty of clean fresh mountain air and a wide variety of outdoor pursuits to cater for people of all ages.
It is the perfect place for keen walkers with easy walking straight onto the mountains. Nearby is the Old Roman Road that leads through the Brecon Beacons and passing Pen-y-fan, the highest peak (886m) in Southern Britain. The Brecon Beacons National Park extends to over 500 square miles so there is plenty of space if you need to get away from it all!
Brecon is of copurse first and foremost a tradional farming community with a large livestock market now situated out of town where there are regular sheep, cattle and pony sales. The town has a covered Market on Tuesdays and Fridays and the usual array of interesting shops.
Drive up the yard which has a slight incline.
Parking and turning on the courtyard in front of the house. Side entrance has 2 steps up into a level porch area with telephone. Main door entrance has 2 steps up into lobby area. All doors are standard width.
Colour contrast to floors, walls and doorways.
One small step up into kitchen which has standard height work surfaces and low level cooker/grill and microwave. Adequate natural lighting. Tv with remote controls and teletext facility.
Downstairs double bedroom with space on both sides of the bed and windows to the north and east. Firm alarm fitted.
Lounge has one small step up with a highlighting edging strip of a contrasting colour. Ample lighting with centre and wall lights and a standard lamp. Remote controls for tv/video with teletext facility. Electric flame effect fire. Log fire if preferred. Comfortable armchairs with arm rests and suitable for the elderly.
Shower room downstairs with toilet, washhand basin and shower enclosure. The shower room is not suitable for wheel chairs.
Up a flight of stairs with a fitted hand rail and a safety gate at the top and a fitted firm alarm. Bathroom with rectangular bath with anti-slip base and hand rails, shower screen and a power shower over. Wash hand basin, toilet and a heated towel rail. Lounge with central light and a standard lamp. TV and video with remote controls.
Public transport from Llanfrynach village.
Taxi service to the door.
Service dogs welcome.
Enclosed private country cottage garden with boundary fence, shrubs and trees. Patio area with step, BBQ and rotary airer. Log store.
