Garrique Cottage

The cottage has a kitchen/dining/ living area which is ten metres long with a high beamed ceiling and french doors opening out to a patio with steps down to the secluded south and west facing garden. This is an ideal area for summer BBQs or for children to play. The separate sitting room has a wood burning stove, magnificent views, and lots of books, board games and DVDs. Both the sitting room and living area have TVs, and Wi Fi is provided which is suitable for emails, but not for downloading films/ videos etc as the speeds are too slow.
Other accomodation includes a double bedroom, a bunk room, and a twin bedroom with an optional third bed. The sofa in the sitting room can be opened out into a double bed. There is a family bathroom and a shower room, as well as a third toilet and handbasin just off the small entrance lobby. A door can be closed to make the shower room ensuite with the twin bedroom if wanted.
The cottage is fully equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, washing up machine, fridge, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, iron and ironing board, and lots of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Logs for the wood burner, bed linen, and electricity are all included in the rent.

Activities on the door step.
Visitors to Garrique Cottage can use the hard tennis court at Garrique Farm, or wander out along the surrounding paths, over the moor, through woods and forestry, or up to the Spout of Ballochleam ( a waterfall on the edge of a grouse moor). Kippen is around two miles away by foot across the fields, and intrepid hikers can make their way up through the Gargunnock Hills and across to Loch Carron.
