Gleathers Holiday Cottage
Gleathers is the name we have given to our newly refurbished holiday cottage annex. "Gleathers" is an old local Pembrokeshire word for the wild yellow iris often seen flourishing in the local fields and hedgerows.

Gleathers is situated approximately 2 miles south-west from the town centre of Haverfordwest on the B4327 Haverfordwest to Dale road. It is part of, but separate from our home - Norton Villa. Whilst it is close to the County town it is in a rural area where one can enjoy quiet country walks along the many lanes and by-roads surrounding it. Within a very short distance there are several local inns and restaurants for those wishing to dine out. The local Post Office, shop/bakery, and local Tesco superstore are only 1 mile away. Within 6 miles lies the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast famed for its coastal path walks and fine sandy beaches. The Preseli hills lie about 10 miles to the North, offering some of the most lovely scenery in the area.

Gleathers is a completely self contained, fully furbished holiday home with central heating. The ground floor comprises an en suite bedroom with double bed, bath with shower over, basin, WC, and walk-in airing cupboard / wardrobe. The stairs, fitted with stair lift, lead to the fitted kitchen equipped with electric cooker, refrigerator, and all relevant cooking and catering requirements. Through the kitchen is the sitting room with views over the surrounding countryside, where you can relax with colour TV or settle down with a favourite book. Our large gardens are at your disposal to sit in and enjoy if you so wish. There is ample car parking adjacent to the property, and the shared use of our laundry room is also available.

We regret we cannot accept pets and request no smoking. All bookings to be accompanied by a 20% non-returnable deposit with the balance payable upon arrival. No cancellation is accepted after 2 weeks prior to booking dates and the reservation must be paid in full. We enclose a Holiday Protection brochure which would cover any such eventuality should the need arise. Our rates are on an all-in basis with no hidden extras.

As we live on the premises we are always available to meet our guests with a welcome tray, and fresh flowers are provided to help you settle in after your journey.
