The cottage has a large sitting room with an open fire set beneath a mantle piece which is a 15th. century wood carving, built into the chimney breast.

There is ample seating for everyone and an amount of antique furniture within this room.

There is a gallery at one end of the room, which takes you to a large, open plan kitchen and dining room.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob and oven on a large central island and a Rangemaster, together with all the normal requirements, such as a microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a utility area with a washing machine and separate condenser type tumble dryer

There are two bedrooms downstairs, one being a complete en suite together with a four posted bed and antique furniture.
The other a twin bedroom situated adjacent to a bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. Making this room an en suite unit over night. The complete ground floor is under floor heated and radiators in the upstairs areas

Upstairs there is an second sitting room / reading room, leading from the gallery at the top of the stairs. From this second sitting room is another master bedroom with a large and well appointed ensuite bathroom. The bed has an early oak headboard, together with the furniture being generally antique and dark woods. The en suite has a very large bath with a shower attachment. The house has a private garden, with a patio area and wooden corner deck all catching the summer sun. A perfect setting for the evening glass of wine after the day's exploring.
