Great Glen Chalets
Come and unwind in the mountains, breathe the fresh mountain air and relax in the comfort of a spacious self catering chalet situated amongst woodland on Torlundy Farm. We offer a rural retreat on an organic farm with fly fishing and horse riding in the foothills of Ben Nevis.
There are eight self-catering holiday homes individually sited amongst pine trees with superb views of three of the highest mountains in the British Isles. Ideally situated for touring the West Highlands and only 3 miles from Fort William and 1 mile from the mountain bike trails and skiing area of the Nevis Range.
These two-bedroomed chalets sleep 4/5 persons and are an ideal base for a family holiday in the Highlands. Linen is provided and pets are welcome. Laundry facilities on site.
Nevis Lodge
Superb new architects designed ecolodge set amongst woodland with spectacular views of Ben Nevis from its full length windows. The large living area is open to the pine panelled roof and has light streaming in from all directions with oak flooring throughout. The comfortable warmth of underfloor heating from ground source heat energy is the first thing you notice on entering the house, then the spacious main room with its central wood burning stove dividing the dining from the living area. A spiral staircase leads upto a balcony sleeping loft at one end of the house and there are stairs up to a spacious bedroom and balcony overlooking the living room at the other end.
The modern kitchen with white units and teak worktops is equipped with dishwasher, stainless steel smeg cooker, freezer and fridge. The living room has a modern flat screen t.v. comfortable seating and coffee table in front of a log fire there is also wireless connection for computer geeks. Sleeping 8 in 4 bedrooms (3 Double and one twin) and one sleeping loft, there are two bathrooms with showers and baths and endless hot water. Outside there is plenty of room for parking and a paved area for barbques leading out to natural woodland.
Completely private in its own grounds, Nevis Lodge is the perfect holiday house for those who appreciate light and space in modern design and superb mountain scenery. Nevis Lodge is in a great location situated on Torlundy farm with its horse riding, farm walks and fly fishing and only 3 miles from shops in Fort William. Nevis Range skiing and mountain bike tracks are only 1 mile from the house and for hill walking you are at the foot of Ben Nevis with Glencoe 16 miles away.
Lone Pine Lodge Self Catering
This superb log house with cathedral ceiling and large balcony has some of the best views of snowcapped Ben Nevis. It is a fly fisherman's dream abode with a trout loch 20 yards from your balcony and farm walks up into the hills behind. Experience the peace and tranquility from your elevated site overlooking fields and forest to the Lochaber mountains.
The 1½ storey timber house has three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps 7 people. The open plan living room has a cathedral ceiling with large windows and doors leading to your balcony. Comfortable sofas, a gas fire, television and DVD complete the picture.
Upstairs there is a master bedroom with bathroom and a studio balcony overlooking the livingroom which can be used as an extra bedroom if required.
The modern kitchen has a gas cooker, a breakfast bar, fridge/freezer, washing machine & drier, and the cabin has oil central heating throughout.
What to see and do during your holiday
Fort William and Lochaber outdoor capital of the UK
The Fort William and Lochaber Area has recently beed designated "The Official Outdoor Captial of the UK", and with good reason. The stunning scenery - mountains, glens, lochs and coastline, make the area a paradise for visitors interested in a whole range of outdoor pursuits: Whether you're interested in walking, climbing, skiing, fishing, canoeing, sailing, wildlife or just siteseeing and relaxation, you'll find plenty to keep you happy here. Below are just a few ideas for your stay.
Within one hour:
Ben Nevis: Britain's highest mountain, at over 4000ft is literraly on your doorstep when you're staying on Torlundy Farm. For the less vertically inclined, Glen Nevis, which is at the foot of the mountain also has some beautiful walks - particularly the one to Steall Falls.
Aonach Mor: Britain's only cable car will take to effortlessly to over 2000ft up this mountain to enjoy the walking in the summer, the skiing in the winter and the views all year 'round.
Glencoe: Spectacular scenery carved out during the last ice age with walking to suit all abilities - hidden glens, soaring mountains, misty lochs and winter skiing. The Lost Valley, Buichille Etive Mor, and Stob Ban are popular hikes at all times of the year.

Jacobite Steam Train: This train runs the line from Fort William to Mallaig in the summer months. Recently made even more famous by the "Hogwarts Express" in the Harry Potter films, this is a fantastic way to view some beautiful Highland scenery.
Ardnamurchan & Morvern Peninsulas: Reached by a quick ferry crossing of the Corran Narrows some 20 minutes south of Fort William, these sparsely populated areas have some magnificent scenery and abundant wildlife. Ardnamurchan Point Lighthouse - the most westerly on the British Mainland - is a popular attraction.
Ice Factor: Climbing walls and the worlds largest indoor ice climbing wall in all seasons. The Ice factor can be found in Kinlochleven. Courses are available for all abilities.
Further afield, but all within reach:
Isle of Skye: The famous "misty Isle" can be easily reached from Ballachulish, but leave yourself plenty of time to explore!
Isle of Mull: Another beautiful Island, particularly popular with wildlife watchers due to regular sitings of otters and sea eagles, amongst others.
