Within 20 minutes car or train journey are the historic centres of Cambridge and Ely with their medieval buildings, including Cambridge's famous university colleges. Both cities can also be reached by the National Cycle Network which runs past our door. Ancient paths which have become popular with walkers also run close by and the National Trust's Wicken Fen nature reserve as well as historic houses are all within a 10 mile radius. A new public leisure centre is five minutes drive away, as well as Newmarket racecourse.
