Highclere, Slapton

Highclere is a bright and roomy detached house set high above the pretty village of Slapton. It has lovely views across rolling fields to the sea, one mile away. There is plenty of room for children to run around in the garden, where there is also a barbecue and outdoor furniture, and parking space for several cars, something of a bonus in Slapton. A downstairs bedroom and bathroom make it ideal for elderly visitors.

Inside there is an open plan kitchen and living room which makes the most of the outlook through large patio doors. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, bread maker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and dining table to seat six. The kitchen opens onto the conservatory where there is seating and further access to the garden. The comfortable living room has a TV, DVD player and radio with iPod connection.

Also on the ground floor is a dining room, comfortably seating six and again looking out to the sea, a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC, and a pretty double bedroom with queen size bed.

Upstairs there is an attractive double bedroom with queen size bed, and two single bedrooms, one of which can accommodate a further fold out single bed. There is also a second bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC.

Please note that the steep stairs make Highclere unsuitable for toddlers.
