Property description
Highfield Lodge is a pet friendly bed and breakfast. You don't have to have a dog to stay with us but if you do, they are very welcome. Dogs love holidays too!
Numerous dog friendly beaches are within close proximity of Highfield Lodge. Crantock's broad sand dune backed beach is one of the best in Cornwall and the neigbouring Polly Joke is a short walk, where seclusion and magnificent sunsets await....
Other dog friendly beaches within easy reach are; Holywell, Perranporth and Watergate Bay. Each one equally magnificent and worth a visit, with or without a dog!
FACILITIES:
We now have a mini suite. This is a double room with a sitting area and a view from both windows over Crantock Village down to the sea. This room is ideal for those requiring a bit more space (approx twice the size of a standard double).
Highfield Lodge has seven en-suite doubles and one single en-suite. All rooms are centrally heated, double-glazed and equipped with a freeview television, tea/coffee making facilities, CD player & hair dryer.
Bedrooms at the front of Highfield Lodge have views of Crantock village down to the sea and those at the rear enjoy expansive countryside views, towards the village of Cubert.
We also have a modern, self-catering holiday flat, which accommodates two adults. The accommodation comprises of a double bedroom, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen/diner and lounge area with electric fire, T.V. and double sofa bed (suitable for children only).
Our bar is available to relax in at anytime of the day and is fully licenced, offering a choice of refreshments.
A private car park is located at the rear of the house.
We have a no-smoking policy through-out.

Area description
Crantock is on the North coast of Cornwall, about 4 miles to the South West of the major holiday resort of Newquay. The village has an ancient church called St Carantoc, two Inns, one of which -The Albion - is of considerable antiquity, and a charming Tea Garden, The Crantock Gallery and a number of gift shops and newsagent/ village stores.
Most visitors come for one of North Cornwall’s finest beaches, which is a 10 - minute walk from the hotel. Crantock Beach along with its neighbour Porth Joke (Pollyjoke as it’s known locally), are both all year round dog-friendly Beaches.
