It is warm and cosy, with underfloor heating in the kitchen diner and a fine solid ash wooden floor in the master bedroom, which has views over the Witham Valley and far beyond to the Sherwood Forest area. It overlooks an 19th century brick quarry, which now forms a small nature reserve and provides a sheltered and secluded private area for enjoying summer evenings.
