The name Faskally (or Fascallie) derives from the Gaelic, and translates as “the resting place in the wood.” A most apt definition of our location for your holiday.
Each of our four self-catering lodges nestle amid conifer woodland below Ben Vraikie, with views to the Cairngorm range of mountains. All are self contained, fully furnished and equipped to sleep 5 adults in comfort.
Your accommodation comprises a spacious open lounge, with kitchen and dining facilities. One double bed room and one twin bedroom. ) Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers, with further storage cupboards in the lounge and kitchen.
The kitchens are fully equipped with all that you will require, including cooker, fridge, microwave and all cooking utensils and chinaware. Laundry facilities are also available on the site.
All bed linen and towels are included , supplied once a week, and the beds will be prepared for your arrival. Cots are also available on request at a modest additional charge.
Free car parking is provided adjacent to the lodges.
Dogs are permitted, but it is respectfully requested that they are kept under strict control to respect the needs of other guests, and dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, due to our proximity to sheep farming. Again a modest charge is applied for each pet to cover the additional cleaning required.
Lastly, children are most welcome, bringing life and joy to this haven. They have room to play and explore, and the wildlife will enthrall them, never mind the opportunity of adventure. -
How could we charge for that.
