Hi, we are looking forward to welcoming you to our lovely comfy relaxing guest house Holly-Wood in the heart of the Lake District National Park.

We have our own small car park at the rear of the property. Our breakfast are all freshly cooked to order and we offer traditional, vegetarian or other food needs if we know in advance. They are served in our spacious dining room, why not check out our web site for an example menu. We welcome children from 10 years old and have a great family room with a full bathroom en-suite. The House is strictly non-smoking through-out, we are sorry but we are unable to accommodate pets. Your room is usually ready from about 2.30pm, but if you want to come in earlier then just let us know when you book and we will do our best to have the room ready for you. If you think you will not get to us at the time you have advised us then please give us a ring to let us know as soon as you can, and if you are going to arrive after 8.00pm then please telephone to let us know as we prefer guests to arrive earlier than this. Please note that we do not accept arrivals after 10pm. We ask you to vacate your room by 10.30am on day of departure. Holly-Wood has 6 en-suite, tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished rooms comprising of 3 doubles, a single, a twin and a family room for 3 being 2 adults and 1 child. Rooms are located on first and second floors, we do not have any ground floor rooms. The family room has a full bathroom and our other 5 rooms have shower en-suites, Flat screen colour Tv's with freeview, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, and a tea, coffee tray with fair trade and or ethically sourced tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. We have a minimum of 2 nights stay, and a minimum 3 night stay for Bank Holidays. We have great walks from the door step and can help with tours as well as walk planning and when you get back from your day exploring the great Lake District, you will find quality fair trade, green and ethically sourced items in your room to help you relax, like the toiletries which are not only locally made but the Company has just won a prestigious Green Award. We use fresh local produce from within the local area and farms for our breakfasts which are freshly cooked to order. All our bedding is Egyptian cotton to help relax you for a great nights sleep ready for another day exploring the Lakes.
