Huxton Wood is a newly refurbished beautiful detached bungalow sat in an acre of gardens with 8 acres of woods behind the house and wonderful extensive countryside views to the front.
Views reach as far as Salcombe and East Portlemouth and are quite breathtaking.
The bungalow under went major rebuild and refurbishment in 2007/8 and it is now a modern home furnished to a very high standard. Each room has its own entrance and patio with patio furniture and the location of the house ensures a quiet peaceful holiday is guaranteed. The rooms are spacious and well equipt and are particularly suitable to any guests with mobility difficutlies as it is all on the level and the ensuite is also spacious and well designed.

Area description
Being situated half way between Thurlestone and Kingsbridge just off the A379/381 it makes the perfect base for exploring the whole of the fantastic South Hams and all its attractions. Salcombe is only 10 minutes away and there are several local beaches less than 3 miles from our home. Bantham beach with its amazing white sand and famous surf is only 4 miles . Dartmouth, Dartmoor, Plymouth , Totnes are all within a 40 minute drive.
The South West coastal path can be joined after a 2 mile walk through lovely lanes and the coastal path offers some of the most stunning coastal views in the country.
