Property description
Innisgarth is a south facing property with a fenced and well maintained garden. The attractive conservatory with seating is a particularly appealing feature, helping you relax after a fine day exploring Orkney.
A garden table with parasol, chairs, bench-seats and a barbecue are provided for those long summer days when you may wish to eat and relax outdoors. The interior has been newly furnished to a high standard. A new eco-friendly air source heating system with thermostat control ensures cosiness all year round!
The lounge features a leather suite, flat screen 32"" multi-channel tv, dvd player and a hi-fi system complete with a selection of dvds and cds. Several Orkney books are provided to help you plan your holiday and find out more about the islands.
The kitchen is comprehensively equipped with touch-control halogen hob with child lock, built-in oven, a microwave and an integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The dining area features an oak dining suite, quality dinner service and Edinburgh crystal glasses.
The two bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin - have plenty of storage, mirrored wardrobe doors, bedside cabinets, radio alarms and a hairdryer. A travel cot and high chair are also available.
The laundry room is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes airer and full ironing facilities.

Area description
The combination of Kirkwall's relative size and isolation from larger settlements means that a comprehensive selection of services and good quality shops are concentrated there- visitors will often comment that they can see things in the shops in Orkney that they can't get hold of back home.
These days one of Orkney's main claims to fame is the quality of its produce from its progressive agricultural and shellfish industries, and also the fine beverages from the Highland Park and Scapa distilleries, the Orkney Brewery and Highland Brewing Company, and Orkney Wine Company. Other leading brands from Orkney are Orkney Cheese, and Orkney Ice Cream. You can sample some of these products in the Welcome Pack that will await when you stay with us.
But for the visitor Orkney's appeal lies in its unique attractions such as the astonishing archaeology of the UNESCO World Heritage Site which encompasses Skara Brae, Maeshowe and the Ring of Brodgar, and the activities such as superb diving on the scuttled German fleet. That and the fact that it is enjoyable just to spend some time here...
