Property description
Jenny Wren is our own holiday home and is lovingly furnished to a high quality.
We have a lounge with leather sofa, lcd tv and dvd player. The kitchen has been re-fitted in the last year and offers a double oven, microwave, 4 slice toaster & washing machine as well as all the necessary cooking implements. There is a fully tiled shower room. The price includes bed linen, towels and all electricity. One well behaved dog is also free of charge.
The position of Jenny Wren, being on the end closest to the River, means that we have one of the best views of the River Dart from our patio.

Bella Piccola: 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 3 people. 1 Dog welcome free. Again, this bungalow is the owners holiday home and it shows. Like Jenny Wren, this bungalow has one of the best views from their enclosed decked patio. New furniture for 2012 to include leather sofa and 2 reclining chairs. The kitchen is modern and has elec oven, microwave, toaster and tumble dryer (no washer). If you want to look at the view then this is a good choice.
Lucy Lou - 2 bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 people. A pretty well cared for bungalow that is well kept by the owners. Modern kitchen and shower room. Leather suite, dining table, outside patio with table and chairs. Dog welcome. Take own linen, electric included
Laura Lee - from the same owners as Lucy Lou - 2 beds sleeping up to 4 people. Kitchen with washing machine, outside patio and further side garden area. Dog welcome. Take own linen, electric included.
River View - An attractive end bungalow within a larger than average plot. Enclosed patio, table and chairs. Linen and electric included.
Dart Vale - Superb bungalow adapted to comprise one very large double bedroom sleeping 2 (plus space for travel cot). Beautifully appointed with a spacious and airy feel, and equipped exceptionally well with washer, dryer, full size fridge freezer etc. Patio with furniture and River Dart Views. 1 dog welcome free. Take own linen.
Dart Haven - From the same owners as Dart Vale - a 2 bed bungalow sleeping up to 3 persons. Really thoughtfully appointed and again extremely well equipped with appliances. Tiled flooring in the living areas. Patio with furniture and views of the Dart. 1 dog welcome free, take own linen.
Twelve A - 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 in one kings sized room and one twin. Presented to a high standard with all modern fixtures and fittings, the owner takes great pride in this bungalow. 1 dog welcome @ £10. Take own linen.

Area description
The bungalows are on the edge of Galmpton Village on the border of Torbay and South Hams in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are 1 mile from the National Trust property Greenway House, which was Agatha Christie's holiday home.
Close to Brixham, Paignton, Torquay, Dartmouth and Totnes. Dartmoor can be seen from the bungalows and is within easy driving distance.
There is always something to do if you dont want to sit in the peace and quiet!
The Greenway Walk offers stunning views and is a lovely way to reach Greenway House.
The village pub the Manor, is a 10 minute walk into the village, serves good food and is dog friendly. Galmpton also has a family butcher and general store/post office.
Splashdown water park at Goodrington sands is less than 3 miles away, for lots of watery, hairaising slide fun!
Bygones in Torquay is a 'victorian street' and Babbacombe model village is a stones throw away.
Beaches are close by; Broadsands 1 mile, Goodrington sands under 3 miles.
Paignton is fun for kids with regular kids activities in the summer; you've got Paignton Pier, crazy golf, cinemas, fairground rides at various times, and the beach!
