Bordering rich meadows, our nine highly individual holiday cottages provide excellent self-catering accommodation and are a perfect base for the north York moors for those seeking a countryside setting, whilst being only a short walk to the centre of the traditional market town of Pickering. Pickering's attractions include the famous North York Moors Steam Railway, a historic 12th century castle, Victorian Museum and indoor swimming pool as well as superb shops, market, pubs and restaurants. Why not take a day trip to Heartbeat and Harry Potter country or Yorkshire's heritage coastline with its fantastic sandy beaches, towering cliffs, bird reserves and quaint fishing villages? The historic city of York is also close by, get lost in its cobbled streets, or visit York Minster and the world famous Shambles. We are the perfect location from which to explore all the area has to offer.
