Kinlochlaich House

Kinlochlaich House is a listed building of the 17th and 18th centuries set in its own beautiful gardens on the south facing slopes of the Appin hills, close to the sea with views to the mountains. You can stay in self contained apartments in the historic country house or in the original gardener's cottage adjacent to the walled garden or in a unique contemporary eco building with a tree in the middle!

The gardens include a fine walled garden where you will find Scotland's leading specialist Garden Plant Centre. There is a tennis court, table tennis pavillion and rope swings for children. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available in season.

The Hutchison family live and work in the house and grounds and therefore the cottages and apartments are open all year round. You are welcome to stay for as little as two nights during the Autumn, Winter and Spring. All our properties are comfortable and well equipped and we are on hand to answer any queries or help you plan your various activities.

The properties are open throughout the year and rates are adjusted according to the season. Each season with its changing colours and light has special qualities.
