Introduction

A self-catering holiday annexe, bungalow style, attached to our home. There are ramps for easy access to both outside doors. We have our own semi-circular drive with plenty of parking space. Internally, there is a step from kitchen to living room for which we can provide a portable ramp if required. The bathroom has a strong fold down seat in the level entry shower. A toilet seat with arms on a stand can be provided if required. All sink and basin taps have levers.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• Level tarmacadam drive.
• Plenty of parking space next to entry ramp.
• Entrance ramp has hand rails.

Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area

• You will be met by the owners who will show you round and offer explanations.
• The door opens into the kitchen.

Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc

• There are no public areas in this self catering property.

Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc

• The lounge / diner has a fitted carpet, easy chairs, a sofa and a sofa bed. It has a small dining table, two chairs with arms for ease of rising and two further dining chairs all with seat pads. There is a large bay window overlooking the guests part of the garden, a smaller window and a glazed fire exit door fitted externally with a ramp. You go through to the lounge from the kitchen, a ramp can be fitted to the step. The opposite door goes through to a small lobby with bathroom and bedroom doors leading off. This floor area is all level with fitted carpet throughout.

Laundry

• There is an automatic washing machine in the kitchen.
• There is a whirlygig washing line in the guests part of the garden for their sole use.

Outdoor Facilities

• The garden is accessible via the entrance ramp.
• There is a barbecue, folding table and chairs in the summer house for guest use.
• There is an outdoor swimming pool which guests may use by negotiation with the owners and by signing a disclaimer.
• Access to the pool is by steps up and down and may not be suitable for persons of limited mobility.

Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas

• There is one double bed in the bedroom.
• It is accessible from both sides.
• There is a fitted carpet on the floor.

Shower-room & WC

• There is fitted cushion floor with a shower mat and a toilet pedestal mat.
• There is a pedestal wash hand basin.
• There is a toilet with low level flush. A toilet seat with raiser handles is available if required.
• The shower cubicle is fitted with a strong grab rail and a strong slatted seat which can be raised and lowered.
• There is just a small lip on entry to the shower cubicle.
• There is space to turn in the shower room.

Self-Catering Kitchen

• The outside door opens into the kitchen.
• There is laminate flooring.
• A ramp can be provided for the step up into the living room if necessary.
• The cooker and work surfaces etc. are all at normal height.

Grounds and Gardens

• Part of the garden is for guest use.
• There is a gazebo with a folding table and chairs.
• A barbecue is supplied.
• There is a whirly-gig washing line.
• The ground is laid to grass and is either level or gently sloping.

Additional Information

• The minimum number of persons who can use the property is two.
• The property is best suited to persons of limited mobility who use walking sticks or a rollater.
• There is a double sofa bed in the living room.
• Two of the dining chairs have arms for ease on rising.
