Llundain Fach, 'Little London', is set in a secluded (but not remote) location just off the Swansea-Brecon Road (A4067) and on the southern edge of the Brecon Breacons, on the banks of the River Tawe, and surrounded by trees; both bedrooms have views of the river and garden. We provide relaxed welcoming comfort in an atmosphere somewhere between Enid Blyton and Donovan.
We have two well-appointed bedrooms: one double bedroom with large ensuite facilities including rainstorm shower, comfy chairs and table, hairdryer, tea- and coffee-making facilities. The other double bedroom has a seperate shower room with rainstorm shower (downstairs), plus hairdryer, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is use of a cosy study for days when the weather is bad, or you've got a blister from walking this amazing landscape.
Both rooms are fresh, cosy and comfortable, and we are sure you will have everything you need for a lovely relaxing stay.
The bedrooms and study are upstairs; breakfasts are served on the ground floor... or out on the patio... or by the river bank...
We have a large lawn bordering the river by the front door, leading into our woods that also border the river, where you can sit by the river's edge and watch the wildlife on the water, fish for sewen and salmon (local licence required), or maybe take a picnic, your guitars, some wine. There is on-site parking and undercover storage for bikes.
Breakfasts are freshly cooked from locally sourced ingredients, and vegetarian or vegan options are available - let us know if there are any special requirements or allergies, when you make your booking. A good range of evening meals can be found in the nearby pubs and restaurants, or you can of course bring take-aways back. Simple evening meals can be provided at a modest cost, but only by prior arrangement.
We have a cot available on request, and for families or groups travelling together, there is an additional 2-bed bunkroom that can be booked with one of the double rooms.
Please note: there is open access to the river so young children must be supervised.
