Simply relax in our gardens and admire the view or walk in the surrounding picturesque countryside, fortified by our hearty, locally sourced farmhouse breakfast.
Here at Longhill Farm we aim to make your stay with us a luxurious treat from the start.
With three generous sized rooms, all with extremely comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms and lovely views, you'll be spoilt for choice.
The Orchard Room
The Orchard Room is aptly named as it looks out onto the apple trees to the front of the house, and the pastures beyond. It has a Victorian black open fireplace, with typical green tile surround.
Being on the ground floor of our farmhouse it is suitable for those with mobility needs, and the en suite bathroom is also furnished for our disabled clientele. This room’s door opens into the farmhouse hall way, with its very large stone flag floor, inglenook and high ceiling.
The Orchard room also has tea & coffee making facilities, free wireless internet connection & freeview TV with DVD player
The Dairy Room
The Dairy Room was once the Cheese Room of the farm, where all the homemade cheeses were stored before going to market. The cheeses where lifted through the floor from the now kitchen below, on a pulley system.
There is no evidence these days of the cheeses or the pulley system, making this en suite large family room quiet & comfortable. The superking bed is luxuriously comfortable and spacious, and the single trundle bed pulls out into twin beds which can be utilised for either children or adults. We can also provide a travel cot for our youngest guests.
This room has tea & coffee making facilities, free wireless internet connection & freeview TV with DVD player.
The Bayley Room
The Bayley Room is named after Neville’s maternal grandfather, and has a Victorian black open fireplace, with marble effect surround.
A double room with a superking bed that converts into twins also has a built in wardrobe, and a comfortable chair with side table for reading.
The Bayley is an en suite room, with fantastic views over Creech hill to the front of the house, as well as the apple trees by the front door where a drink under the trees can be taken on a fine day.
This room also has tea & coffee making facilities, free wireless internet connection & freeview TV with DVD player.
