The harbour town of Penzance may be reached within seven miles and provides a comprehensive range of retail and leisure facilities. There are main line rail connections in the town, as well as sailings and helicopter flights to the magical Isles of Scilly. Local buses and taxis serve these areas including destinations from Penzance railway station.
