Lucy's Cottage

Access - on the ground floor there is a raised doorstep in through the front door and a small step down into the kitchen through the back door. There is also a small step up into the kitchen from the dining room, and both doorways into/out of the kitchen are quite low. Both the lounge and dining rooms have fully fitted carpets whilst the kitchen floor is of stone tiles.

The staircase is a little narrower than you would normally find in a modern property and has a right-angled turn over three steps near the bottom.

Upstairs is fully carpeted throughout and all on one level with the exception of a small step down into the bathroom.

Parking is at the rear of the cottage and is accessed via a small roadway next to the neighbouring cottage. The roadway and indeed the parking area to the rear is surfaced with stone gravel. There is a narrow gate allowing access from the parking area to the rear garden. The garden itself is mainly laid to lawn though there is a small stone patio area closer to the cottage. It is not possible to park at the front of the cottage in the narrow lane.

Facilities - TV, DVD player and a selection of DVD's, range of books and family games, wood-burning stove, radio/CD player and a selection of CD's, gas central heating, fully equipped kitchen including microwave, gas hob and oven, fridge and dishwasher, modern bathroom with full-size bath and electric shower, washing machine/tumble dryer, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, off-street parking for two cars, garden table and chairs.

Please note that our rates include all gas and electricity charges for the duration of your stay, and logs for the wood-burning stove. Also included are towels and bed linen.
