WOODLANDS is situated in a leafy secluded location at the heart of this magnificent area yet under an hour from the end of the M4, two hours from the Severn Bridge and similar from many areas of the West Midlands.
We are just a few minutes drive (2 miles) from New Quay and under 10 minutes from Aberaeron. A bus service passes the entrance to the park that will take you to many local and also further off places (Aberystwyth, Cardigan, Camarthen and even Cardiff).
NEW QUAY 'Cei Newydd', with its picturesque houses, pubs and restaurants clings to the sides of the hills rising above the blue waters of Cardigan bay. The town has narrow streets rising in terraces. There is a sheltered harbour and safe sandy beaches which become the focus of activity most of the year making New Quay a bustling and vibrant holiday resort where sailing, fishing, water sports and relaxation are amongst the main attractions.
From New Quay's pier you can see the famous Cardigan Bay dolphins most days in the summer. Other important wildlife on the area include the rare Chough, Red Kite, the seabirds and grey seals. ABERAERON one of, if not, Wales's most attractive harbour side town with its many quaint multi-coloured cottages everywhere. Pen Cei was recently voted 5th prettiest street (Google Street view awards) in Britain. It follows the busy harbour where many a relaxing hour can be spent watching a host of activities including boats coming and going.
Shopping here is truly delightful with an eclectic collection of small and friendly shops where there is something for everyone! There are good quality restaurants, coffee shops and many pubs ALL oozing character and charm.
Aberaeron is without doubt somewhere you will return to time and time again.
