Property description
Meadowsweet Farm, Newton, a thatched property dating back to medieval times, is a mile west of Bicknoller down a quiet country lane. The farm extends to some 30 acres of meadows & woodland over which visitors are free to wander. There is a small brook for fun fishing & train spotters can enthuse over the West Somerset Steam Railway. Chickens roam the farmyard & provide fresh free range eggs for sale.

The Wagon House - sleeps 3+2+cot
A single storey cottage, deceptively spacious with beamed sitting/dinning room with sofa bed for +2. Well fitted kitchen, bathroom, double bedroom with balcony & single bedroom.
The Dairy - sleeps 4+cot
This cottage nestles under the thatch at the end of the main farmhouse & has much old world charm & character with beams & exposed timbers. The accommodation for 3 or 4 consists of kitchen/diner & comfortable sitting room downstairs, a double bedroom second bedroom with 1 or 2 single beds & bathroom upsrairs.
The Mill - sleeps 4+cot
This delightful mill has been sympathetically restored & there are many original features such as old timbers & beams. This accommodation is on 3 half levels - with 1 double & 1 twin, open plan kitchen/sitting room, dining room & bathroom.
The Barn sleeps 8+1+cot
A very spacious cottage which has retained plenty of character with exposed beams & timbers. The lofty sitting room has a log burner, there is a farmhouse kitchen/diner, 4 bedrooms 1 double & 1 twin on the ground floor & 1 double with bed for +1 & 1 twin on the first floors, 2 bathrooms 1 with bath, 1 with shower.
Dogs are welcome 2 max. £25.00 per dog per week or part week.
Toddlers beware! Young children will need supervision because of water nearby.
Cottages are available from 4pm on the day of arrival, until 10am on departure date. Weeks are booked Saturday to Saturday.

Bicknoller is a small village nestling under the western fringes of the Quantock Hills (an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty). There are thatched cottages & red stone houses a 15th Century church, Inn serving food & village shop. Bicknoller is 3 miles from Williton (supermarkets, banks, chemist, butcher, greengrocer, P.O. & newsagent) 14 miles from the county town of Taunton (shopping, theatre, cinema, tenpin bowling, swimming pool, cricket & racecourse) 5 miles from Watchet (small old harbour town) & Minehead is 12 miles (fishing, horse riding, golf & shopping). Beyond Minehead is the most beautiful coastline & west of Bicknoller are the Brendon Hills & the Exmoor.
