Pauline and Marek offer a warm and friendly B&B service in the unique 17th C (Grade II Listed) thatched Riverside Cottage, set in the Magical environs of the Mole Valley, with the front tiered gardens beside the waters of the River Mole, and the hidden terraced gardens into the ancient wooded hillside, known as Arshatton Wood.
We work on the principle that this is your home from home, so if something is not there, and you need it, please do ask, and if we've got it, you are welcome to it, or if we haven't then we probably know a man who has. All our bedrooms have washbasins, Sky TV, ( we have a library of DVDs and also the loan of a media player with hundreds of films and series to choose from), tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge, and of course, the wonderful views! You can have your breakfast in your room, or in the comfort of the homely dining room. All types of breakfasts are catered for, and at a time of your choosing, so ask and we will accommodate you.
As an extra facility, the River Garden with 1920's built Octagonal Summer House is idyllic for big barbecues, (you provide the food, drinks and the sweat, and we provide the rest), afternoon teas, use of the Hot Tub, or just relaxing watching out for leaping Salmon, the stunning views, or a spot of gardening, no charge.
For those with a sporting bent, our section of the River Mole can be fished for Sea Trout, Salmon and Brown Trout for a small fee. Enjoy the many and varied walks and the ancient woods are a must. So please ask us for a more detailed map of the area.
