Oaklands is a privately owned, detached house set in 2½ acres on the banks of the River Esk, a stones throw from Whitby’s spectacular Viaduct. Within the grounds we have a private, detached cottage, having river access for boat launching, canoeing and duck feeding!

Eskbank is a delightful, secluded haven of escape!

Nestled in a cluster of trees, this quaint detached cottage has uninterrupted views and access to the stunning River Esk.

Fully modernised throughout in a fresh, contemporary style with home-from-home luxuries such as super soft, fluffy bathrobes and towels and a complimentary welcome pack on arrival. Gentle under-floor heating provides ultimate comfort throughout.

The cottage comprises cosy lounge through kitchen with comfy sofas around an original log burning stove, fully fitted kitchen area, double bedroom with stunning views, bunk room and stunning bathroom with wet-room style shower and roll-top bath - Eskbank has been designed and furnished to high standards including Sky tv and dvd player.

Enjoy relaxing on the private outdoor patio area with table and seating, bar-be-cue facilities and lounge chairs. Take time to stroll along the River bank or sit at our private jetty and feed the ducks and occasionally glimpse the seals playing!
