OLD SMIDDY COTTAGE SELF CATERING

The Old Smiddy Cottage first opened in 1997 as a very successful B&B and in 2003 we turned it into a Self Catering holiday cottage. The cottage is built over Ballagan burn the waters of which run down to meet the waters of Loch Lomond. We have a lovely patio built beside the burn where you can sit and enjoy the wild ducks during the summer months. There is a large driveway that would accommodate 3/4 cars or a car and trailer. There is also an Apartment at the Old Smiddy too that sleeps 3 persons. The Cottage has a large kitchen with table and chairs and included in the kitchen is a dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave and all ironing equipment. Coffee maker too. Sitting room lovely leather suite, black watch tartan carpet and there is central heating throughout. Peaceful setting although within walking distance to bus and trains. 40 minutes from Glasgow and Stirling and 20 minutes to Glasgow Airport. All bedding and heating included in price although overuse may result in a charge at end of stay. Please take out holiday insurance in case of having to cancel holiday within 4 weeks of arrival as full amount will be due. 10% deposit to book with remainder due on day of arrival and now accepting credit/debit cards. MINIMUM LET IS A 3 NIGHT STAY DURING WINTER MONTHS.
