Property description
Orchard Lodge is a large house set in its own peaceful grounds in a conservation area on the edge of Boscastle village. A stone's throw from hidden-away High Street and Fore Street, and one of the area's most charming, best-kept secrets. A ten minute stroll takes you to the historic harbour and coastpath. Our twin and double rooms are all en-suite and have been fully refurbished in crisp, contemporary style.
There's a spacious lounge and in Summer, a garden in which to unwind and relax. Orchard Lodge offers easy parking, whilst being handy for local transport. The village’s oldest pub and a handy shop are just yards away. We welcome walkers and cyclists and have facilities for storing equipment and drying wet weather gear. We can also help with pick up/drop off and kit transfer.

Area description
Boscastle is an ideal location for exploring not just north Cornwall, but the entire county. We are only 45 minutes from the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan as well as the National Trust's flagship property, Lanhydrock House.
Only a few miles down the coast you can visit Padstow, home of Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant.
Another venue not to miss is Port Isaac, location for TV's Doc Martin as the fictional village of Port Wenn. Port Isaac is also home to the Fisherman's Friends, who can be heard singing their shanties on the Platt most Friday evenings in summer.
Boscastle village is home to the renowned Witchcraft Museum; or if walking and exploring the countryside is more for you, there are dozens of walks around the village and along the South West Coast Path.
