Orchards: Cosy self contained cottage forming part of the Parsonage with its own front door, sunny plant-filled courtyard and verandah. There is a master (double) bedroom and two smaller twin rooms, and a bathroom with shower.
The spacious sitting cum dining room has an open fire, and this together with a fully equipped kitchen make the cottage ideal for families or small groups.
Wireless internet is sometimes available for those who need to stay connected.
The house stands in three acres of secluded gardens that were originally laid out by Priscilla Lady Bacon.
They are stocked with many unusual bulbs, shrubs and trees and the garden is beautiful in each of the different seasons. There are well planted borders and spacious lawns, and an established area of vegetables and fruit trees, as well as wilder areas.
Many birds and insects are attracted by the diversity of plants and trees and the sense of peace is tangible.
