Stromness is a peedie(small) fishing village in the Orkney Isles. Many archaeological sites to visit, such as Skara Brae and Maeshowe. Long summer days, with a midnight golf competition on the longest day. Amazing views at every turn, and sunsets thrown in for free. Many music events throughout the year, folk, blues, jazz with St Magnus festival a major highlight. Our local food is a attraction to foodies which is used in many of our restaurants and bars, where you can also try our local brew!!
