Portballintrae Cottage
Our three bedroom town house is ideal for families, groups of golfers or friends. We are pet friendly with shared garden and grounds. There is a rear garden with sun patio and BBQ area which gets the sun from 11am till just before sunset. The town house is modern, has full central heating and we provide for an open fire for winter visitors. There is one double bed room with ensuite, one twin bedroom and one twin bunk room (adult size). There is also a bathroom with a separate shower. The living room has Sky TV (please bring your won card for all your own channels) with DVD player and music system, the bunk room and main bedroom have TV sets. The Living room, dining area and kitchen are in one large open plan room on the first floor with great views over the countryside. There is a separate Laundry Room.
Portballintrae Cottage is located 5 minutes walk from the sea, harbour, nearest beach and restaurant.
It is 8 minutes walk into Bushmills town which is the home of Bushmills Distillery (a must to visit), and is slightly larger than Portballintrae. It has a range of restaurants from fine dining to excellent cafes and coffee shops. Bushmills has a host of good shops with the best fruit & vegetable and the best butchers in the area. You are 8 minutes drive from the Giant’s Causeway; Portrush is only 8 mins drive away. Prices include all bedding, heating and energy costs.

Giants Causeway
The Giants Causeway is a World Heritage Site. The Causeway Stones are beautiful rock formations. Walks along the North Coast Paths are exhilarating. The visitors centre presents a vivid account of geology, history and wildlife. A minibus service operates from the car park to the Causeway stones during the summer.
Bushmills
The Bushmills Distillery is the worlds oldest licenced whiskey distillery. It has been making its famous blends of whiskey since 1608. A guided tour is available of the distillery during the summer months.
Duncluce Castle
Dunluce Castle is one of the most identified landmarks on the Causeway coastline. Dating back to the 16th Century, the castle is a romantic ruin, perched on a dramatic cliff top.
Carrick a Rede Ropebridge
Carrickarede rope bridge is not a trip for the faint hearted with an 80 foot downwards view of sand, sea and surf. As the waves roar below, the breeze surrounds you with a feeling of flight. Not to mention the astounding view of the surrounding coastline.
Dunseverick Castle
The castle was occupied until its capture and destruction by Cromwellian troops in the 1650s, and today only the ruins of the gatelodge remain. A small residential tower survived until 1978 when it eventually surrendered to the sea below.
White Park Bay
This beautiful beach is only a short distance away near Portbradden. A beautiful walk and nature trail.
Whiterocks
This spectacular beach is near Portrush and has several miles of excellent sand. Excellent waves for bodyboarding and surfing.

Royal Portrush Golf Course
Royal Portrush Golf Course is one of six golf courses within the local area. It was the venue for the first professional tournament in Ireland in 1895. http://www.royalportrushgolfclub.com
Horse Riding

Three Local Swimming Pools
There are three swimming pools in the area. One pool in Coleraine has two water slides and childrens pool. Ballymoney pool is a family leisure centre and has a cafe. Waterworld in Portrush is a fun pool with lots of activity equipment, including a Pirates Ship with water cannons, water slides and more.
Ballycastle Golf Club
Ballycastle Golf Club offers a full 18 hole, part links, part parkland, championship course open to both members and non-members all year round. www.ballycastlegolfclub.com
Bushfoot Golf Course
Bushfoot Golf Club is within walking distance of Blackrock house and allows spectacular views of Blackrock strand and the Giants Causeway area.

Portrush Countryside Centre
Portrush Countryside Centre was once the Bath House providing hot salt-water baths. It was refurbished and opened to the public in 1977. This earth science site is of historic importance to geologists and contains numerous imprints of fossil ammonites. www.ehsni.gov.uk/places/parks/portrush.shtml
Surfing / Bodyboarding
Troggs surf shop in Portrush offers hire of wetsuits, bodyboards and surfboards as well as lessons if requested. Excellent beaches in Portballintrae, Portrush and Portstewart are excellent for beginners or advanced surfers.
Banana Boating
Banana boating is available in Coleraine on the river bann and in Portrush at the sea-front.
10-pin bowling
10-pin bowling is bookable for parties at the Coleraine Jet Centre and in Ballymeana.
Fishing
Fishing tackle & bait can be hired from Portrush and Bushmills.
Crazy Golf / Pitch & Putt
There are Crazy Golf and Pitch & Putt courses all around the Causeway Coast. The best are in Portrush near the Royal Portrush Golf Club.

Barrys Amusements in Portrush contains an amazing selection of arcade machines, roller coasters, bumper cars as well as many outdoor rides, carrousel and ice cream. An excellent way to end your stay!
